Do I look full? I'd just eaten one of the
most memorable meals of my life...

Why visit Israel?  One writer puts it succinctly: "Visit the birthplace of Jesus in Nazareth; see where historic Biblical battles took place near Megiddo; cross over the Sea of Galilee where Jesus walked on the water. Take a drive on the coast of the Dead Sea; have lunch in Abraham's Tent and then effortlessly float in the salt concentrated waters of the Dead Sea. Jerusalem is the highlight of your trip, where you will see Golgotha near where Jesus was crucified, the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives, Hezekiah's Tunnel and even take part in a Seder meal. A trip to Israel allows you to experience just a taste of the Bible's richness and reality. You will never read your Bible in the same way again as you gain a fuller understanding from your Israel experience."

I couldn't have said it better myself!  Everyone I know who has visited the Holy Land has said it was among the most meaningful trips of their lives, if not the most important, period.  Among the many delights: delicious food!  In the attached photo, I am standing with one of the most gracious hosts I've ever met at his restaurant in the West Bank after eating a meal I still eat in my dreams.  And not only were the many courses of authentic food mouth-watering, but the hospitality was unlike anything you'll experience stateside (unless you're at Grandma's house or something).

If you're interested in a packed, economical trip with a fun-loving, Christ-exalting group, write me at pastordale@aol.com and let me know of your interest so you can be added to our email list and keep up to date on this inspiring, upcoming pilgrimage!  Pastor Dale

Hey everyone: greetings to all of you fellow lovers of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah and Lord of all creation.  We will soon gather on hillsides where he taught and climb steps he walked on his way into David’s royal city, Lord willing.  It will be marvelous.

Couple of things:
We got the price of the trip down below $4,000, as was my original intent.  It is now $3,977, or $153 less per person.  It adds up, especially for pairs.  You can use that money to print and extravagantly frame some of your favorite photos from the trip of your life!

Pastor Stan Way will not be accompanying us on this trip, after all. On reflection, Pastor Stan and his wife decided that this would not be the best time for their family for him to be gone for eleven whole days.  So that is a disappointment.  But Pastor Bill Gallagher has agreed to come along and that is great because Bill is a wonderful, fun guy who will be a blessed addition to the group.
Check this blog often because I will be trying to add little bits here and there, and refer others to it if they’d like to learn more.

If you would like hard copies of the brochure, or would like multiple copies to share, or would like me to mail them to anyone, just say the word.  Also, if you have ANY questions, please don’t hesitate to forward those along!

Can travel transform a traveler?  It depends on the destination!  There is no destination more transforming for a believer than Israel, where the Bible comes together in a way all the best sermons simply can't match.  I have the privilege of hosting a trip coming up April 30-May 10, 2013.  It's going to be exciting: join experienced, lighthearted guides and hosts on this economical 11-day pilgrimage to the Holy Land and watch the Bible come together before your eyes.  The trip is just $3977, round-trip from Medford, although you can leave from any departure city at adjusted rates.  Now is the time to lock in this rate what with airfares soaring!
